J&L 3.0 Oil Separator Driver Side (3044D) - Ford & Lincoln 2.0L EcoBoost Applications

Protect your 2.0L EcoBoost engine from harmful oil contamination with the J&L 3.0 Oil Separator. Designed for a wide range of Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L EcoBoost engine, this driver-side oil separator captures oil vapors before they can enter the intake system, helping maintain engine performance, fuel quality, and long-term reliability.

As crankcase vapors are routed back into the intake system through the PCV system, oil mist can accumulate throughout the intake tract, manifold runners, and combustion chambers. This buildup can reduce efficiency and even lower fuel octane. Turbocharged engines are particularly susceptible due to increased crankcase pressure under boost. The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator helps eliminate this contamination before it reaches critical engine components.

Machined from solid billet aluminum, the J&L 3.0 features a robust design engineered for years of dependable service. A high-efficiency stainless steel mesh filtration system captures fine oil vapors and allows them to condense into the collection reservoir. The knurled tank base makes servicing quick and easy, while an integrated O-ring seal helps prevent leaks.

How It Works

The internal stainless steel mesh filter captures oil vapors as they pass through the PCV system. As the trapped oil condenses, it falls into the collection reservoir rather than continuing into the intake tract. This helps keep the intake system cleaner and reduces oil contamination throughout the engine.
