VMP 16 AN Billet High-Flow Water Manifold (VMP-SUC053) - 2020+ GT500 & 2023+ Raptor R 5.2L
Increase intercooler coolant flow while cleaning up the engine bay of your Predator-powered Ford with the VMP 16 AN Billet High-Flow Water Manifold. This high-flow version combines a true 1-inch internal configuration with external 16 AN x 3/4-inch barb fittings, making it ideal for upgraded intercooler cores while retaining stock-sized external intercooler hoses.
Designed to replace the factory cast water manifold and floating tube arrangement, the VMP billet manifold features a larger internal diameter, modular AN-style connections, and black anodized billet aluminum construction. It works with stock and aftermarket supercharger lids equipped with compatible VMP intercoolers and can easily be converted to 1-inch external hoses as cooling demands increase.

True 1-Inch Internal High-Flow Design
VMP-SUC053 is designed around 1-inch internal floating transfer tubes for increased coolant flow through compatible intercooler cores. This makes it the appropriate high-flow configuration for VMP intercoolers including VMP-SUC035, VMP-SUC036, VMP-APX030, and VMP-APX031.
The manifold can also be used with other intercooler cores featuring true 1.000-inch ID machined inlet and outlet bungs, including compatible Whipple intercooler cores.
Stock-Sized External Hose Compatibility
Although the manifold features a 1-inch internal configuration, it comes equipped with 16 AN x 3/4-inch barb fittings externally. This allows the high-flow manifold to connect to stock-sized intercooler hoses without immediately requiring a complete external hose conversion.
As the cooling system evolves, the external fittings can be changed to 16 AN x 1-inch barb fittings, allowing the same manifold to support a full 1-inch hose configuration.
Modular Cooling System Design
The modular construction allows the VMP High-Flow Water Manifold to grow with the vehicle. Owners can retain 3/4-inch external hoses initially and later upgrade to larger 1-inch hoses as the build becomes more demanding and additional intercooler coolant flow is required.
For a full 1-inch hose conversion, VMP recommends -16 AN x 1-inch barb fittings with compatible 1-inch ID rubber hose. Suitable hose options include Gates 28413 Safety Stripe or the thicker Gates 28449 Green Stripe hose.
Integrated Boost Reference Port
An integrated 1/8-inch NPT boost reference port provides a convenient connection point for boost gauges, fuel systems, and other upgrades requiring a boost reference signal. A silver plug is included for applications where the port is not being used.
VMP part number VMP-SCH101 can be used to add a 1/4-inch fitting for the boost reference connection.
Billet Aluminum Construction
The factory cast water manifold is replaced with a billet aluminum, black anodized AN-style manifold that provides a cleaner appearance while supporting increased coolant flow. The larger internal design is built to improve cooling efficiency for performance applications while giving the Predator engine bay a more finished appearance.
