VMP 16 AN Billet Water Manifold (VMP-SUC052) - 2020+ GT500 & 2023+ Raptor R 5.2L
Upgrade the intercooler cooling system on your 5.2L Predator-powered Ford with the VMP 16 AN Billet Water Manifold. Designed to replace the factory cast water manifold and its floating transfer tubes, this billet aluminum manifold provides a larger internal diameter for improved coolant flow and cooling efficiency while delivering a much cleaner AN-style appearance under the hood.
This version is designed for the factory intercooler core as well as older versions of the VMP 81mm Race Core and 68mm Street Core that measure 3/4-inch internally. Its modular construction also gives you room to upgrade the cooling system later as your combination and cooling requirements evolve.

Modular Cooling System Design
VMP designed this water manifold to grow with your build. In its supplied configuration, the manifold uses 16 AN x 3/4-inch barb fittings to connect to the factory intercooler hoses. The external fittings can also be upgraded to 16 AN x 1-inch barb fittings when moving to a larger 1-inch hose configuration.
If the intercooler is later upgraded to a design using internal 1-inch inlet and outlet fittings, the manifold insert can be replaced with VMP part number VMP-SUC065. This allows the same billet manifold to remain part of the cooling system as greater coolant flow becomes necessary.
Boost Reference Port
The manifold includes a boost reference port on the front for additional functionality. VMP part number VMP-SCH101 can be used to add a 1/4-inch fitting for a boost reference connection.
16 AN Fitting Compatibility
The VMP water manifold accepts standard 16 AN fittings, including compatible fittings from manufacturers such as Fragola. For a complete 1-inch hose conversion, the system can be configured with -16 AN x 1-inch barb fittings and compatible 1-inch ID rubber coolant hose.
VMP specifically references Gates 28413 Safety Stripe hose or the thicker Gates 28449 Green Stripe hose as compatible 1-inch ID hose options for this type of conversion.
