Adjustable 3.5-6.5 Inch Rear Drop
The UMI 6563 Rear Lowering Kit provides multiple ride-height settings to help you dial in the stance of your F-150. Ride height can be adjusted in approximately 1/2-inch increments, giving you considerably more flexibility than a fixed-height lowering system.
UMI lists an average lowering range of approximately 3.5-5 inches for 2WD trucks and approximately 4-6.5 inches for 4WD trucks. Actual lowering can vary based on truck weight, configuration, and body style.
Retains Factory Ford Leaf Springs
The UMI Rear Lowering Kit achieves its substantial rear drop while retaining the factory Ford leaf springs. It is compatible with trucks equipped with either steel or composite leaf springs, allowing the system to work across multiple factory F-150 suspension configurations.
Multi-Position Adjustable Rear Shackles
The rear shackles feature multiple height settings that allow you to fine-tune rear ride height. Combined with the rest of UMI's lowering system, the adjustable design provides approximately 1/2-inch ride-height increments so the stance can be tailored to the individual truck.
Viking Double-Adjustable Rear Shocks
UMI includes popular Viking double-adjustable shocks as part of the 6563 package. Rather than relying on factory dampers with a substantial rear drop, the Viking shocks provide additional tuning capability to help dial in handling and ride quality.
The adjustable dampers allow the rear suspension to be tailored for different applications, whether the F-150 is being built for corner carving, drag racing, street performance, or daily driving. UMI designed the system to combine significantly improved handling with the smooth ride characteristics expected from a street-driven truck.
Driveline Angle Adjustment
A substantial rear drop changes more than the truck's appearance. UMI includes 2.5-degree pinion angle shims and a transmission spacer to provide driveline angle adjustment after lowering.
UMI developed the system specifically to address the vibration and harshness that can occur with some lowered truck suspension combinations. The pinion angle shims and transmission spacer work as part of the complete system to help establish appropriate driveline geometry after the truck has been lowered.
Engineered for Ride Quality
