Reverse Level Your F-150
The rear of the F-150 sits relatively high from the factory, creating the familiar factory rake. Rather than raising the front to level the truck, the UMI Reverse Leveling Kit lowers the rear for a cleaner and more aggressive stance.
UMI's rear lowering shackles provide up to 1-1/2 inches of rear drop, making the kit an effective option for leveling a factory-height truck or adding additional rear lowering adjustment to a modified F-150.
Four-Position Adjustable Shackles
Heavy-duty four-position adjustable shackles allow you to select the rear ride height that best suits your truck and desired stance. This adjustability provides more flexibility than a fixed-height lowering component while maintaining a straightforward bolt-in installation.
Additional Lowering for 4WD Models
On 4WD F-150 models, an additional 1-1/4 inches of rear lowering can be achieved by removing the factory-installed leaf spring block. UMI includes eight U-bolt spacers with the kit, allowing the factory block to be removed without requiring shorter U-bolts.
This block-removal option is specific to applicable 4WD configurations and can be combined with the adjustable shackles to further reduce rear ride height.
No Pinion Angle Shims Required
According to UMI, this reverse leveling kit does not adversely affect the truck's pinion angle. As a result, additional pinion angle correction shims are not necessary when installing the kit as designed.
Retains Factory Shocks and Ride Quality
The UMI Reverse Leveling Kit is designed to work with the factory F-150 shocks, eliminating the need to replace the dampers simply to achieve the rear drop.
