TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit for Stock Steering - Factory Spindles (1964 - 1967 Chevelle - A-Body) - 317-202-21
Bump Steer Correction Kit for 1964 - 1967 Chevelle (A-Body)
The TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit is engineered for 1964 - 1967 Chevelle models running factory or aftermarket non-TRZ spindles with stock-length tie rods. This kit replaces the factory inner and outer tie rod ends with a fully adjustable chrome-moly system, allowing you to fine-tune tie-rod height at the spindle to restore proper steering geometry - especially important on lowered A-Body vehicles.
TRZ notes that "factory spindles" also refers to aftermarket non-TRZ spindles. A "TRZ spindle" designates the steering arm as TRZ-made, which allows the use of longer tie rods. Regardless of spindle type, this bump steer kit corrects unwanted toe change through suspension travel, resulting in a more stable, predictable car.
The kit includes chrome-moly rod ends, LH/RH tie-rod adjusters, 6061 aluminum spacers, and new inner tie rods. Installation requires drilling the tapered spindle/steering arm hole to 1/2" to accept the included hardware.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to drill my spindles to install this kit?
Yes. The stock tapered spindle/steering arm hole must be drilled to 1/2" to accept the hardware included in the TRZ kit.
Is this kit necessary for lowered A-Body cars?
Yes. Lowered suspension geometry typically introduces bump steer, and this kit allows precise tie-rod height adjustment to correct it.
