The TRZ Motorsports 209-27S Coil-Over Brackets are designed specifically for non-backbraced rearend housings, providing a strong and adjustable mounting solution for coil-over shocks in high-performance drag race applications. These dropped mounts position the shock lower on the housing, offering improved geometry and clearance options depending on stroke length and ride height.
Built from premium CNC-machined billet aluminum, these single-shear brackets deliver excellent rigidity while providing flexibility for shock widths thanks to spacer-based configuration options. They include Grade 8 hardware and multiple adjustment points for dialing in shock angle and suspension response.
This style typically allows 5" stroke shocks to mount under the floor, while 6" and 7" stroke shocks may mount through the floor depending on your upper shock mount and vehicle setup. TRZ recommends - but does not require - a lower crossbrace for added support.
Note: For backbraced housings, use Part #209-28S, #209-28D, or #209-28D-4.
