Designed as part of Texas Speed’s in-stock short block program, this engine assembly delivers the strength, precision, and reliability of a custom-built engine with faster availability for serious street, strip, and boosted applications.
Each short block is precision machined, balanced, blueprinted, and assembled in-house to Texas Speed’s exacting standards. Built around a brand new Ford Coyote block and equipped with forged internals, ARP hardware, premium bearings, and custom JE pistons, this short block is capable of supporting up to 1000 horsepower when paired with the proper supporting components and tuning.

This Gen 3 Coyote short block is designed for high-performance applications, including 2024+ Ford Mustang builds.
This short block will not work with 2021+ Ford F-150 trucks. For 2021+ Ford truck applications requiring a Gen 4 12:1 version, see part number TSP-5.0SB-GEN4-12.1-Kit.
