Overview
The stock intake manifold on the 2015-2016 6.7L Power Stroke is known for its restrictive internal passages, which limit airflow and create unnecessary turbulence. PPE's Zilla Intake Manifold and Turbo Inlet Kit replaces these factory bottlenecks with a smoother, higher-flowing design that improves engine efficiency, throttle response, and overall performance.
High-Flow Intake Manifold Design
The Zilla manifold features large 3.25-inch stainless steel tubing and hydroformed runners that deliver a clean, direct airflow path into both cylinder heads. The restrictive OEM EGR boss is removed, and the EGR inlet is repositioned and angled to promote even distribution of fresh air and EGR gases. These improvements contribute to a 69% increase in maximum flow compared to the factory manifold.
To support the revised EGR routing, PPE includes a redesigned stainless steel EGR pipe along with new gaskets for a complete, ready-to-install solution.
Upgraded Turbo Inlet System
The kit also includes a fully round 4-inch stainless steel turbo inlet paired with a matching 4-inch dry carbon fiber airbox duct. Unlike the stock components that transition between round and oval shapes, PPE maintains a consistent round profile to reduce frictional losses and improve airflow. The factory two-chamber plastic resonator is removed, reducing turbulence and weight while enhancing turbo sound.
OEM-Like Fitment
Despite the significant performance improvements, PPE engineered this kit to install with factory-like fitment. All original mounting points for sensors, brackets, and coolant lines are retained. The MAP sensor port remains in the same location as stock, ensuring seamless integration with factory electronics.
