PPE's Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing is a durable, cast-aluminum replacement designed for 2007.5-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax engines. As factory housings age, corrosion and internal buildup can restrict coolant flow. This upgraded housing restores proper circulation and improves overall cooling system reliability.
High-Strength Cast Aluminum Construction
Built from high-strength cast aluminum, this housing offers improved resistance to corrosion and long-term wear compared to the OEM component. It helps prevent the blockages and cooling inefficiencies commonly seen as the stock part deteriorates.
Direct Replacement Fit
This unit is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory housing (GM P/N 98082690). It installs onto the OEM cylinder heads and is fully compatible with the factory thermostats, temperature sensor, and thermostat housing cover.
Optional Stainless Steel Cover Upgrade
For added durability and a cleaner engine bay appearance, PPE offers a matching 304 stainless-steel thermostat housing cover (PPE P/N 119000540 or 119000543), which pairs perfectly with this upgraded housing.
