All-Aluminum Bar-and-Plate Construction
Unlike the stock intercooler that uses crimped plastic end tanks, PPE's design features fully welded cast-aluminum end tanks paired with a robust bar-and-plate core. This construction offers superior heat resistance and easily handles elevated boost levels.
Massive 85% Larger Core
The intercooler uses a 2.75-inch thick core - roughly 80-85% larger than the factory 1.5-inch core. The increased size, combined with denser louvered cooling fins, dramatically improves heat transfer and reduces charge-air temperatures.
