Overview
The PPE Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum Engine Oil Pan in a natural raw aluminum finish is a major upgrade for 2011-2016 GM trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax. Built from A356.0-T6 heat-treated aluminum, this deep pan increases oil capacity by one quart, improves cooling efficiency, and eliminates the drainage issues found in the factory stamped-steel pan.
A redesigned flat-bottom profile ensures complete oil evacuation, preventing the leftover sludge that contaminates fresh oil during routine changes. Reinforced gussets, cooling channels, and a high-strength magnetic drain plug all contribute to better lubrication and long-term engine protection.
