PPE's Valve and Conical Spring Kit is engineered to upgrade the valve train on 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax engines. Designed to handle higher RPM and elevated boost levels, this kit improves valve control, responsiveness, and long-term durability - making it a strong choice for performance builds or heavy-use applications.
Improved Valve Train Stability
The conical springs feature a higher spring rate and reduced mass, helping eliminate valve float under high engine speeds. With an installed pressure of 125 pounds and the ability to manage 60+ psi of boost, these springs deliver reliable performance even in demanding setups.
Premium Valve Construction
All valves are fully nitridated and reinforced with Stellite alloy for exceptional wear resistance and strength. This ensures consistent sealing and long-term reliability, even under elevated heat and pressure.
High-Strength Components
Chromoly retainers and spring seats are built to withstand the increased spring pressure, while the FKM valve seals are designed to match the valve guides used in PPE's Cast Iron Cylinder Heads for a tight, dependable seal.
