When enthusiasts upgrade to thicker, heavy-duty cast-aluminum aftermarket rear differential covers (which offer casing support and cooling benefits), the factory Panhard rod layout frequently interferes, causing metal-on-metal contact and binding during suspension travel. BMR's PHR008H solves this issue by relocating and spacing the Panhard bar rearward, delivering ample clearance for virtually any aftermarket cover without sacrificing suspension strength.
Engineered for brutal street, drag strip, and road course performance, the PHR008H is MIG-welded and constructed using high-strength DOM steel tubing paired with CNC-formed, laser-cut steel plate. This heavy-duty bracket is robust enough to easily withstand the immense lateral loads transmitted through the Panhard rod during hard cornering and aggressive launches. To ensure long-lasting durability and resistance to road grime, it is finished in a rugged, textured black hammertone powdercoat. It installs effortlessly within about 1 hour using basic hand tools. - To prevent suspension bind when using the PHR008 relocation bracket, BMR highly recommends pairing it with a Panhard bar equipped with spherical bearings / rod ends on both sides.
- BMR strongly recommends using either the PHR012 (DOM) or MPHR012 (Chrome-Moly) double-adjustable rod-end Panhard bars alongside this bracket.
