NOTE: Will work with 8 Rib Kenne Bell Coyote Supercharger as long as you install the Whipple Alternator Relocation Kit

The all billet MFP crank support prevents crank breakage on supercharged applications. The 5.0L Coyote Whipple Crank Support is direct fit for Ford 2011-2023 Mustang GT with Whipple Gen 3, 4, or 5 superchargers. Specifically setup for use on 10 Rib Belt Kits. The crank support system on the Coyotes are a weak link when installing an aftermarket supercharger, especially the larger Whipple Superchargers units. The added force on the belt & pulley system has been known to flex or snap the 5.0L Coyote crankshafts causing catastrophic damage.

Installation:

Tech Note: 10 Rib Kits must have the Whipple alternator relocation kit for this to work. The crank support systems, which are made from billet aluminum with a billet 316 steel bearing,  helps to minimize any flex or movement in the front of the crank to help prevent breakage. The aluminum plate installs onto the timing cover around the balancer using the included spacers and bolts. The balancer bolt slides through the large 316 billet steel hub that will also sit inside of the balancer to help keep it from moving. This hub will replace the factory washer and then sits inside of a large, high-RPM-capable bearing attached to the billet aluminum plate. These act together to keep the crank in place and in one piece.

    MFP fitment is great. It looks great. I’m in the building stages of my car and will be awhile before I actually use this piece of equipment. But fit and finish is important, and it fits and looks very nice installed.
