MFP crank support prevents crank breakage on supercharged applications. The MFP Crank Support is direct fit for Ford 2007-2014 Shelby GT500 with any supercharger using a stock or ATI Balancer. Specifically setup for use on 6 Rib Belt Kits. The crank support system on the Mod Motors are a weak link when installing an aftermarket supercharger, especially the larger Whipple Superchargers units. The added force on the belt & pulley system has been known to flex or snap the crankshafts causing catastrophic damage.

Installation:
The crank support systems, which are made from billet aluminum with a billet 316 steel bearing, helps to minimize any flex or movement in the front of the crank to help prevent breakage. The aluminum plate installs onto the timing cover around the balancer using the included spacers and bolts. The balancer bolt slides through the large 316 billet steel hub that will also sit inside of the balancer to help keep it from moving. This hub will replace the factory washer and then sits inside of a large, high-RPM-capable bearing attached to the billet aluminum plate. These act together to keep the crank in place and in one piece.
