Designed specifically for highly upgraded daily-driven Explorer ST builds producing more than 500 horsepower, the Street/Strip Series bridges the gap between KellTrac's street-focused shock package and its max-effort Race Series. Built upon the proven Viking Double Adjustable shock platform, these shocks incorporate KellTrac-specific tuning and billet aluminum adapters to deliver precise fitment, extensive adjustability, and improved control during both everyday driving and hard acceleration.
Easy-to-access adjustment knobs allow compression and rebound characteristics to be tuned for ride comfort, handling, traction, and straight-line performance. The shock design retains the factory mounting locations and factory dust boots while using supplied OEM-style bump stops for a clean, properly integrated installation. Approximately 2 inches of additional available compression stroke provides increased bump travel for aggressive launches and demanding suspension movement, while the capable valving range provides the flexibility needed to maintain street manners or control Explorer ST builds producing up to approximately 1,000 horsepower.
