Important Fuel Compatibility Warning
Do not use the is232-2150h injectors with VP Import, Q16, or other MTBE oxygenated fuels. The internal construction of the 2150cc injector contains a seal that can swell when exposed to MTBE. This swelling can cause a significant reduction in injector flow, making these injectors unsuitable for MTBE oxygenated fuels.
Fuel Injector Clinic also specifies that proper care procedures should be followed when using alcohol-based fuels such as E85. Prolonged disuse while the injectors remain exposed to alcohol-based fuel can create potential corrosion issues, making proper fuel system care particularly important before extended periods of vehicle storage.
Wiring and Installation
