If you drag race your Fourth Gen, a safety loop is essential to keep you track legal and protect your drivetrain. Engineered to contain the driveshaft during a failure, this loop prevents it from ripping through your floorboards or digging into the track surface. This BMR design provides a solid, reliable mounting point that remains in place during high-stress situations.
Crafted from 0.25-inch laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate, the DSL001H is built for maximum strength and durability. This bolt-on design attaches directly to the factory driveshaft tunnel brace using supplied Grade 8 hardware, allowing for a simple installation with no fabrication required. Finished in a durable black hammertone powdercoat, it offers a professional aesthetic and long-lasting protection. Designed and manufactured in the USA, this kit installs in approximately one hour.
Note: Not intended for convertibles; will not fit with BMR Trak Pak. Due to the infinite variations of exhaust combinations, aftermarket driveshafts, and aftermarket torque arms, this loop may not fit your particular application without shimming and/or exhaust alteration.
