Featured on Engineered Motorsports Solutions’ record-setting 805WHP Mustang, the CVF Race Intercooler is engineered for serious EcoBoost performance. This upgraded unit is a direct bolt-on replacement and delivers massive cooling gains without requiring an intercooler pipe upgrade - though pairing it with CVF charge pipes is recommended for the smoothest installation.
Designed to support builds exceeding 800 WHP, this intercooler features computer-modeled, cast end tanks that provide superior airflow compared to welded aluminum alternatives. With a core measuring 21" x 15" x 4", it offers more than 200% additional volume over the factory intercooler.
Independent street testing has shown Charge Air Temperature (CAC) drops of up to 92 degrees, helping the 2.3L EcoBoost maintain power under demanding conditions. TIG-welded bar-and-plate construction ensures long-term durability, while the enlarged inlet and outlet diameters improve airflow through both the hot and cold sides.

Installation Notes
- CVF Charge Pipe Kit recommended for best fitment
- OEM piping will fit, but couplers may be tight due to larger intercooler connections
- Active Grille Shutters (AGS) must be removed; no check engine light is triggered
- AGS can be reinstalled if the intercooler is removed
