Proven on Engineered Motorsports Solutions’ record-setting 805WHP Mustang, the CVF Race Intercooler in black is built for EcoBoost owners pushing serious power. This unit is a direct bolt-on upgrade and does not require an intercooler pipe kit, though pairing it with CVF charge pipes is recommended for the smoothest installation and maximum airflow.

Designed to support builds exceeding 800 WHP, the Race Intercooler features computer-modeled cast end tanks that flow significantly better than welded aluminum alternatives. Its massive 21" x 15" x 4" core delivers over 200% more volume than stock, dramatically improving cooling capacity.

Independent street testing has shown Charge Air Temperature (CAC) drops of up to 92 degrees - real-world gains that help the 2.3L EcoBoost maintain power under demanding conditions. TIG-welded bar-and-plate construction ensures long-term durability, while the enlarged inlet and outlet diameters improve airflow through both the hot and cold sides.

Installation Notes

  • CVF Charge Pipe Kit recommended for best fitment
  • OEM piping will fit, but couplers may be tight due to larger intercooler connections
  • Active Grille Shutters (AGS) must be removed; no check engine light is triggered
