The CVF Performance Intercooler Black is designed to deliver major improvements in cooling efficiency for 2020-2022 Ford Explorer 2.3L and Explorer ST 3.0L models. This direct bolt-on upgrade requires no modification and has demonstrated real-world Charge Air Temperature drops of more than 85 degrees during independent testing.
With a massive increase in size - 214% more internal volume and 260% more frontal surface area compared to the factory intercooler - this unit provides significantly enhanced cooling capacity. The high-flow cast end tanks, complete with the CVF logo, offer smoother airflow than traditional welded aluminum designs. A TIG-welded bar-and-plate core ensures durability and consistent performance under demanding conditions.
