The CVF Titan High Mount Intercooler takes the proven performance of the original Titan and Titan V2 units and elevates it - literally. Using the same proprietary core technology that has shown 40+ degree drops in Charge Air Temperatures (CAT) during real-world testing, this high-mount version delivers the same cooling gains while positioning the intercooler higher in the grille. This design is ideal for trucks equipped with winches or select aftermarket bumpers.

With a core that’s more than 70% larger than the factory intercooler, the Titan High Mount provides significantly improved heat dissipation and airflow. The kit includes upgraded aluminum cold-side piping, a hot-side relocation kit, and enlarged 3" inlet and outlet ports for maximum flow. High-flow cast end tanks featuring the CVF logo ensure smoother airflow compared to welded alternatives, while the TIG-welded bar-and-plate construction offers exceptional strength and durability.

Construction

Built from premium-grade aluminum, the Titan High Mount Intercooler pairs a robust bar-and-plate core with upgraded aluminum piping for optimal airflow. Fully cast end tanks ensure smooth, unrestricted flow into and out of the intercooler, while TIG-welded construction provides long-term reliability under demanding conditions.

Installation

Installation requires removal of the Active Grille Shutters (AGS). Removing the AGS does not trigger a check engine light, and the shutters can be reinstalled if the intercooler is ever removed. This is a direct bolt-on upgrade for compatible F-150, Expedition, and Navigator models.
