Eliminate Rear Suspension Deflection
Factory Mustang vertical link bushings can deflect substantially as the rear suspension is subjected to acceleration, braking, and cornering loads. This compliance can prevent lateral and longitudinal forces from being transferred efficiently through the suspension and into the tires, reducing available grip and contributing to unwanted wheel hop.
CorteX replaces the compliant bushings with spherical bearings to dramatically reduce this movement. With less deflection in the vertical links, the rear suspension can respond more precisely to driver inputs and changing loads, providing more consistent traction and predictable handling.
18-Inch GT500 Wheel Fitment
