Increase steering stability and K-member rigidity on your 2015-2026 S550 or S650 Ford Mustang with a Front 2-Point Subframe Chassis Brace from BMR Suspension. Factory K-member legs can deflect under hard braking and extreme lateral loading, compromising your steering feel. Built from heavy-duty 1- by 1.5-inch rectangular tubing and CNC-formed, laser-cut 3/16-inch steel plate, BMR's CB007 ties the rear legs of the K-member together to reinforce this major structural area. This effectively reduces deflection under fore, aft, and lateral loads, giving you a much more predictable and stable driving experience.
Engineered for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications, this 100% bolt-on kit uses factory bolt holes and supplied hardware for an effortless installation with simple hand tools. Once installed, it minimizes K-member deflection with no change in NVH, and it is fully compatible with both stock and aftermarket headers and exhaust systems. Finished in a durable black hammertone powder coat, it provides long-lasting protection against the elements. Installation takes less than an hour. Note: Does not fit V6 or GT350 models, does not fit S650 models equipped with an automatic transmission, and does not fit V8 applications with Kooks Long Tube Headers or Moroso road race oil pans.
