The 5.0L Coyote Mustang delivers one of the most iconic V8 exhaust notes on the road, and Borla's 2.5 inch S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust amplifies that sound with a deeper, more aggressive tone. Designed for 2015-2017 Mustang GT coupe and convertible models - and compatible with the 2024 Mustang GT - this system provides Borla's signature S-Type sound: bold, sporty, and refined with zero interior drone.
This dual 2.5 inch system features a high-flow Merge X-Pipe to increase exhaust velocity, improve throttle response, and sharpen overall exhaust character. Borla's patented straight-through multicore muffler design enhances performance while maintaining a crisp, powerful tone that's noticeably louder than stock without being overwhelming. Constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, it offers superior durability and corrosion resistance. The system is finished with dual 4 inch black chrome rolled angle-cut tips for a stealthy, high-end appearance. Borla recommends cleaning black chrome tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth - do not use Borla Stainless Steel Polish (p# 21499). An optional front muffler/resonator (Borla 60561) can be added for additional sound control. Backed by Borla's Million-Mile Warranty, this S-Type system is built to last.
