Borla S-Type Axle-Back Exhaust (11376) - 1984-1991 C4 Corvette
The Borla S-Type Axle-Back Exhaust for the 1984-1991 C4 Corvette upgrades the factory 2.25" Axle-Back section to a freer-flowing 2.5" system, delivering a deeper, more aggressive tone with zero interior drone. Designed for all 5.7L V8 C4 models - coupe and convertible, automatic or manual - this system brings modern Borla performance to the classic fourth-generation Corvette.
Important Installation Note: This system requires modification to the factory Mid-Pipe. The OE Mid-Pipe outlets must be expanded from 2.25" to 2.5" during installation. Once expanded, the Borla system mates perfectly and provides a significant improvement in flow and sound quality.
The system features Borla's patented straight-through multicore muffler design and dual 3.38" x 3" square intercooled polished T-304 stainless steel tips on each side, giving the C4 a distinctive, period-correct performance appearance. Built from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, it offers superior durability and corrosion resistance compared to lower-grade alternatives. Precision CNC manufacturing ensures a proper fit on all 1984-1991 Corvette models.
