The two primary functions of sway bars are to control body roll and to determine the understeer or oversteer behavior of a vehicle. Stock sway bars have low torsional spring rates because they are manufactured from small diameter bar stock or tubing. BMR Suspension's SB330 front and rear sway bar kit was designed by factoring in vehicle weight, application, motion ratio, and coil spring rate. Consisting of a heavy-duty 35mm front hollow sway bar (SB331) and a 25mm rear hollow sway bar (SB003), this kit transforms your third-generation F-body's cornering capabilities. Manufactured from heavy-duty DOM steel tubing, the SB330 kit is cold-formed to better resist torsional fatigue and retain its structural memory far longer than hot-formed alternatives. The sway bars are CNC-formed for exact manufacturing tolerances, featuring welded thrust washers on the front bar to locate the bushing mounts and prevent lateral movement during aggressive cornering. The kit attaches using low-deflection, 88-durometer polyurethane bushings that feature internal flutes to continuously retain and distribute grease for quiet, reliable operation. Designed for street performance, autocross, and road race applications, the front bar yields a 129% increase in rate while the rear provides a 149% increase over stock.
