Built for extreme horsepower applications, the American Racing Solutions Racing Belt Tensioner is engineered for serious racers running high boost and large supercharger setups. Designed to outperform anything else on the market, this tensioner delivers unmatched strength, stability, and reliability in builds exceeding 1000 horsepower.
Precision machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and equipped with a heavy-duty proprietary spring rated between 58-62 lbs, this tensioner provides superior belt control under extreme load. Internally, it features a TGP shaft, hardened bushings, and thrust bearings to ensure smooth operation and long-term durability. Proven on the dyno and track at over 1500 RWHP, this tensioner is designed to reduce or eliminate belt slip, maximizing boost and horsepower.
Extreme Performance Design
This racing tensioner is built specifically for high-boost applications where factory and standard aftermarket tensioners fail. The extended boss design allows for the use of double bearing pulleys, increasing strength and stability under high tension and RPM.
Direct Bolt-On Upgrade

Pulley Options
This listing is for the tensioner only. Compatible double bearing pulleys are available separately in 70mm, 76mm, and 90mm sizes, in both smooth and grooved configurations. Ceramic bearing upgrades are also available.
