Designed specifically for high-performance builds, this next-generation tensioner delivers improved clearance, superior belt control, and race-proven durability for demanding applications.

Machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this tensioner is engineered to withstand the extreme stress of high horsepower and boost levels. Internally, it features a TGP shaft, hardened bushings, proprietary spring, and thrust bearings to ensure smooth operation and long-term reliability. Tested on both the dyno and track, this tensioner reduces or eliminates belt slip, helping maintain consistent boost and maximize power.

Low Profile Performance Design

The updated low profile design eliminates the need to modify or grind the factory tensioner, while providing additional clearance for high-performance setups. It is also compatible with up to a 20 percent oversized damper, making it ideal for aggressive builds.

    So far, it is doing what it should. Quality seems good, and fitment is as expected. 4 stars instead of 5 because 1- there are no instructions. Having a torque spec for the mounting bolt (its 35 lb-ft), and an understanding of the alignment marks on the tensioner would be nice. 2- The packaging was terrible. For something that costs this much, a decent padded box would have been nice, not just a single sheet of bubble wrap, thrown into a thin cardboard box that can easily be damaged during shipping

    Installed it to day went for a ride first time I stepped on it it made 20lb of boost had to let out of it on the street can't wait to get to the track see if it will make 25lb of boost

    Have the 8 rib kit for the Paxton/vortech kit and git this long after and wish I got it sooner, easily made the biggest power difference out of any mod I done aside from the blower itself. I do recommend using the stock pulley bolt on this tensioner the one provided with the ars tensioner has a small head and it makes the socket want to slip off pretty bad on the install overall very satisfied did not expect it too make such a huge difference in power and boost pressure

    Perfect fit, finish and it's heavy duty. Makes the OEM tensioner feel like a toy.
