Designed for both the 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 and 5.0L V8, the 49-33160-B combines 3" mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel construction with a high-flow muffler, dual black powder-coated 4-1/2" exhaust tips, and an electronically controlled exhaust valve that lets you switch between mild and aggressive exhaust tones at the push of a button.
Along with its selectable exhaust sound, the Gemini XV is designed to deliver gains of up to 7 horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque. The complete system features handcrafted MIG-welded construction, factory-style mounting points, stainless steel band clamps, and a direct bolt-on design requiring no cutting or vehicle modifications.
Electronically Controlled Valved Exhaust
The defining feature of the Gemini XV is its electronically controlled exhaust cut-out valve positioned before the muffler. At the push of a button, the valve allows the driver to quickly switch between mild and aggressive exhaust tones, providing greater control over the truck's sound for different driving situations.
The complete valve system includes key fob remotes, a control module, valve motor, and all necessary wiring. Installation does not require cutting into the vehicle's wiring or interfering with the factory electronics.
Sound on Demand
Instead of limiting the F-150 Tremor to a single exhaust personality, the Gemini XV provides selectable sound. Choose the milder exhaust tone when a more restrained sound is preferred, then switch to the aggressive setting when you want to hear more from the 3.5L EcoBoost or 5.0L V8.
3" Mandrel-Bent 304 Stainless Steel Construction
The Gemini XV is constructed from 3" mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubing for maximum strength, durability, corrosion resistance, and exhaust flow. Mandrel bending maintains a consistent tubing diameter through the bends to provide a smooth exhaust path throughout the system.
The system is 100% handcrafted using MIG-welded construction for race-proven strength and long-term durability.
High-Flow 304 Stainless Steel Muffler
A high-flow 304 stainless steel muffler is incorporated into the system to provide the Gemini XV's aggressive exhaust character while supporting improved exhaust flow. Muffler finish may vary.
Up to 7 HP and 13 LB-FT of Torque
The Gemini XV provides more than selectable exhaust sound. aFe reports gains of up to 7 horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque, combining the system's aggressive character with a functional performance improvement.
Dual 4-1/2" Black Exhaust Tips
The split rear exit system is finished with dual 4-1/2" diameter 304 stainless steel clamp-on exhaust tips featuring a black powder-coated finish. The rolled-angle tips feature riveted aFe POWER logo plates for a distinctive finishing touch that complements the aggressive styling of the F-150 Tremor.
Direct Bolt-On Installation
The 49-33160-B utilizes factory-style flanges and barb hangers for a straightforward direct bolt-on installation. No cutting or vehicle modifications are required, and all necessary installation hardware is included.
aFe also utilizes state-of-the-art computer-aided design technology for precise vehicle fitment. Stainless steel exhaust band clamps provide secure connections throughout the installed system.
