BMR Tubular Upper and Lower A-Arm Kit (AA031R) - 70-81 F-Body / 75-79 X-Body
A-arms are one of the most important, yet overlooked suspension components, serving as the direct link between the front wheels and the chassis. Any deflection causes a change in alignment, which results in poor performance and driving feel. Fabricated from heavy-duty 1.25-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM steel tubing with laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate braces, deflection is completely eliminated with this complete upper and lower A-arm kit from BMR Suspension. The kit includes both lower and upper control arms (matching parts AA014 and AA015) pre-assembled with new ball joints, polyurethane bump stops, and greasable 95-durometer polyurethane bushings.
Engineered for street performance, drag racing, handling, and pro-touring applications, the AA031R kit eliminates front suspension deflection to greatly improve steering response, high-speed stability, and cornering grip. The arms feature two additional degrees of positive caster built into both the uppers and lowers, providing a total of four additional degrees of positive caster over stock, along with extra header clearance and a reduced shim stack requirement for negative camber alignments. Finished in a durable red powdercoat, installation typically takes 4–5 hours.
Note: Control arm hardware kit RH009 (includes upper and lower control arm hardware) is highly recommended for complete installation.
