How We Unlock Performance
Our calibrators refine fuel tables, ignition timing, torque converter lockup, drive-by-wire throttle response, shift strategies, and line pressures to maximize performance without sacrificing reliability.

Custom Tuning Process
- Order your SCT X4 and provide vehicle details with tune preferences.
- If your ECU calibration is current, tunes are built right away. If not, a blank device ships for you to pull the latest strategy code.
- Connect the X4 to your OBD-II port and select Vehicle Info to read your ECU strategy/part number.
- Email your ECU code(s) to 5 Star Tuning.
- Receive your custom tunes via email, download them, and load them to your X4.
- Plug the SCT X4 into your OBD-II port, select Program Vehicle, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Installation time: 510 minutes. No tools required.
