How We Get Results

What Can the RTD Device Do?
- Store up to 10 custom tunes
- Monitor engine parameters (RPM, coolant temp, speed, and more)

- Save and restore your factory tune anytime
RTD Flashing Process
- Install RTD Flasher software on your Windows laptop.
- Connect the RTD/RTD+ to your vehicles OBD-II port and to your PC with the included USB-C cable.
- Turn ignition to ON (do not start engine).
- Select Read Vehicle in the software, then Gather Information.
- Save your stock file as FirstName LastName stockfile on your desktop.
- Email your stock file to 5 Star Tuning.
- Receive custom tunes by email, download them to your PC, and load them into the RTD device.
- Reconnect to your truck, select your tune, and write calibration to complete installation.
The entire tuning process takes about 510 minutes and requires no special tools.
