UPR Chrome Moly K-Member w/ Sway Bar Mount NO Motor Mount (2005-96K-NM-100) - 1994-2004 Mustang

Purpose-built for serious race applications, the UPR Chrome Moly Tubular K-Member No Motor Mount Kit is designed for 1994-2004 Mustangs running engine plates and high-performance setups. This configuration removes factory motor mount provisions while integrating tow hooks and lightweight tubular components, making it ideal for drag racing builds where weight reduction, strength, and clearance are critical.

Constructed from premium 4130 seamless chrome moly tubing, this system reduces front-end weight by up to 70 pounds while delivering exceptional strength under extreme conditions. The included tubular A-arms and coilover system provide improved suspension geometry and easy ride height adjustment using UPR’s tool-free adjuster with locking set screw. With maximum header and oil pan clearance and a design focused on durability, this kit is built to perform at the highest level.

Installation

This kit can typically be installed in approximately 3-6 hours using standard tools. Factory hardware must be reused unless an optional hardware kit is selected. Some aftermarket motor mounts may require minor trimming of the locating tab for proper fitment.

Additional Notes

  • Designed for race applications using engine plates instead of factory mounts
  • UPR recommends use of a bump steer kit for optimal suspension geometry
  • Caster camber plates are required due to increased load on the strut towers
  • Does not work with other brands of aftermarket tubular A-arms
