Does this kit require a PCM unlock?
Yes. Model years requiring a PCM unlock include an HP Tuners unlock code. The PCM must be sent to HP Tuners for the unlock service. Certain model years also include a security gateway module to allow PCM read and write access.
Are internal engine modifications required?
No. This Whipple system is engineered as a complete bolt-on upgrade and does not require internal engine modifications. All necessary hardware, wiring, and plumbing are included.
