The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Supercharger Kit is the most powerful, emissions-legal forced-induction system available for 20152017 Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, and Chrysler 300 equipped with the 5.7L HEMI. Built around Whipples latest Gen 6 twin-screw supercharger, this complete bolt-on system delivers massive torque, strong top-end power, and factory-level drivability with proven reliability.
At the heart of the system is the Gen 6 3.0L front-entry, inverted Whipple supercharger, featuring an exclusive 3x4 rotor combination, increased helix angle, optimized inlet and discharge ports, and all-new bearings and gears. Compared to smaller 1.9L, 2.3L, and 2.65L roots-style systems, the larger 3.0L design moves more air with less parasitic loss, resulting in lower discharge temperatures and more usable power across the RPM range.
Whipples patented dual-core, dual-pass intercooler system uses massive aluminum bar-plate intercoolers, an oversized heat exchanger, and a high-flow intercooler pump to deliver industry-leading charge-air cooling. This allows the system to maintain consistent power under sustained load while reducing knock sensitivity and improving overall efficiency.
Fueling and electronics are fully addressed with billet fuel rails, Hellcat high-flow injectors, a fuel pump voltage booster, and an included flash tool for calibration, diagnostics, and data logging. Does this kit require internal engine modifications?
No. This system is designed as a complete bolt-on upgrade and does not require internal engine modifications. All necessary components and hardware are included.
Are PCM changes required for installation?
Model years 20152023 require an unlocked PCM. Whipple includes an HP Tuners unlock code, and the PCM must be shipped to HP Tuners for the unlock service.
