The Whipple Stage 1 Gen 6 3.0L Supercharger System for the 2022–2023 Ford Mustang Mach 1 5.0L delivers true bolt-on, emissions-legal horsepower with OEM-level drivability. Engineered around Whipple’s latest Gen 6 3.0L front-feed twin-screw supercharger, this system produces up to 765 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque on a completely stock Mach 1 engine using 93-octane fuel.

Gen 6 3.0L Twin-Screw Technology
At the heart of the system is Whipple’s all-new Generation 6 3.0L supercharger, featuring completely redesigned bearings, gears, rotors, and housing. The exclusive 3x4 rotor combination, increased rotor diameter, optimized helix angle, and refined inlet and discharge geometry allow the Gen 6 to move more air with lower parasitic loss and cooler discharge temperatures.
The result is more usable power per pound of boost, instant throttle response, and a flat torque curve that transforms the Mach 1 across the entire RPM range.
Industry-Leading Intercooling
This Stage 1 system includes Whipple’s patented dual-core, dual-pass intercooler, the largest intercooler assembly available for the S550 Mach 1 platform. Intake charge air is circulated through each core twice, dramatically reducing IATs and enabling consistent performance under repeated pulls, track sessions, or aggressive street driving.
An oversized heat exchanger, high-flow intercooler pump, and integrated water reservoir ensure rapid recovery times and thermal stability that competitors simply cannot match.
OEM-Level Calibration & Driveability
Whipple engineers developed a proprietary PCM calibration using OEM-level logic to manage fuel delivery, spark, knock control, torque modeling, throttle mapping, and transmission behavior. The system includes an HP Tuners RTD flash tool pre-loaded with Whipple’s CARB-approved tune for true plug-and-play installation.
