The Whipple Stage 1 Gen 6 3.0L Supercharger Kit for the 2022–2023 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L delivers massive, emissions-legal power with OEM-level fit and reliability. Gen 6 Supercharger Technology
The Gen 6 3.0L supercharger represents a major leap forward in efficiency and airflow. With all-new bearings, gears, rotors, and housing, the Gen 6 unit spins faster and seals better than previous generations. Its optimized 285-degree helix angle, redesigned bell-mouth inlet, and improved discharge port maximize airflow while minimizing heat and parasitic loss.
The oversized Crusher™ 150mm inlet supports throttle bodies ranging from the factory 80mm unit all the way up to 132mm and 150mm options, making this system future-proof for higher power goals.
Cooling & Consistency
To support big power safely, Whipple equips this kit with the largest intercooler system available for the S550 Mustang. The patented dual-core, dual-pass air-to-water intercooler is significantly larger than competing systems and is paired with an oversized heat exchanger, high-flow intercooler pump, and dedicated water reservoir.
The result is lower intake air temperatures, faster recovery between pulls, and consistent power whether you’re street driving, dyno testing, or making back-to-back passes.
Calibration & Drivetrain Integration
This kit includes an HP Tuners RTD flash tool with Whipple’s proprietary calibration. Developed using OEM-level strategies and extensive testing, the tune precisely manages fuel delivery, spark timing, knock control, torque modeling, transmission behavior, and electronic throttle mapping. An included IAT2 sensor and harness allow the ECU to monitor post-intercooler temperatures for optimized power and safety.
