The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Stage 1 No Flash Tool (NFT) Supercharger Kit delivers class-leading, emissions-legal performance for the 20182023 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. Built around Whipples latest Gen 6 architecture, this system provides instant boost, a flat torque curve, and relentless top-end power while maintaining OEM-quality drivability.
This is a No Flash Tool (NFT) configuration. The kit includes NO calibration, NO tuning credits, and NO flash tool. Custom PCM tuning is required.
Capable of producing up to 750 flywheel horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque* on 93 octane, the Stage 1 system sets the benchmark for bolt-on power in the S550 platform.
Gen 6 3.0L Twin-Screw Supercharger Engineering
At the core is the Gen 6 3.0L front-feed twin-screw supercharger, featuring Whipples exclusive 3x4 rotor combination with a 285-degree helix. This design improves airflow efficiency, sealing, and RPM capability compared to earlier generations and smaller roots-style units.
An optimized bell-mouth inlet, refined discharge port, and ideal diameter-to-length ratio allow the Gen 6 to deliver more power per pound of boost with lower discharge temperatures.
Patented Dual-Pass Intercooling and Thermal Control
Whipples patented dual-core, dual-pass air-to-water intercooler system routes intake air through massive bar-plate cores twice before entering the engine. This results in dramatically lower intake air temperatures and fast recovery during repeated wide-open-throttle operation.
An oversized heat exchanger, high-flow intercooler pump, and large intercooler reservoir work together to maintain consistent performance in demanding conditions.
Stage 1 Airflow Configuration with Crusher Inlet
The Stage 1 system features Whipples 150mm Crusher Roval inlet, engineered to minimize inlet restriction and rotor cavitation. This inlet supports a wide range of throttle bodiesfrom the factory unit up to 132mm and 150mm optionsproviding a clear upgrade path as power goals increase.
A robust 6-rib belt drive with billet idlers, spring-loaded tensioner, and adjustable idler system delivers reliable boost and easy pulley changes, with optional 10-rib upgrades available.
