The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Stage 2 No Flash Tool (NFT) Supercharger Kit is the most powerful emissions-legal Whipple configuration available for the 20152017 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. Built around the massive W185RF 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, this Stage 2 system delivers brutal torque, explosive mid-range acceleration, and relentless top-end power while maintaining OEM-level drivability.
This is a No Flash Tool (NFT) configuration. The kit includes NO calibration, NO tuning credits, and NO flash device. Custom PCM tuning is required.

Gen 6 W185RF 3.0L Twin-Screw Supercharger Technology
At the core of the system is Whipples Gen 6 W185RF 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, featuring an advanced rotor profile, optimized rotor housing, and inverted front-entry design. Compared to smaller 1.9L and 2.3L roots-style superchargers, the Gen 6 moves significantly more air with lower discharge temperatures and reduced parasitic loss.
This architecture is derived from Whipples race-proven programs, including Fords factory Cobra Jet development.
Stage 2 Airflow Upgrade with 132mm Throttle Body
The Stage 2 configuration maximizes airflow using a billet 132mm Roval electronic throttle body, paired with Whipples high-flow inlet system. This combination dramatically reduces inlet restriction and allows the supercharger to operate at peak efficiency at higher boost levels.
Fuel delivery is supported by billet fuel rails and high-flow fuel injectors, providing the headroom required for the included power levels.
Patented Dual-Pass Intercooling and Thermal Control
Whipples patented dual-core, dual-pass air-to-water intercooler system routes intake air through massive bar-plate cores twice before entering the engine. The intercooler system is over 33% larger than competing designs, delivering unmatched heat rejection and fast recovery.
An oversized heat exchanger, high-flow intercooler pump, and large-capacity intercooler reservoir maintain stable intake air temperatures under repeated wide-open-throttle conditions.
