The Whipple Stage 1 Intercooled Supercharger Kit featuring the Gen 6 W185RF 3.0L twin-screw supercharger is the most powerful emissions-legal bolt-on system available for the 20152017 Mustang GT. Designed to deliver massive power with factory-like drivability, this system combines cutting-edge Whipple engineering with proven OEM-level reliability.
At the core of the system is Whipples Gen 6 3.0L supercharger, using a newly refined rotor profile and high-flow rotor housing to significantly improve airflow, efficiency, and thermal control. This is the same advanced technology used in the 2018 Ford Cobra Jet, setting the benchmark for positive-displacement supercharging performance.
The Stage 1 configuration pairs the 3.0L supercharger with high-capacity fuel injectors from Whipples Stage 2 system while retaining the factory 80mm throttle body for excellent street manners. A massive heat exchanger, high-flow intercooler pump, and Whipples patented dual-core, dual-pass intercooler work together to deliver industry-leading charge-air cooling.
