The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Stage 2 No Flash Tool (NFT) Supercharger Kit delivers the highest level of emissions-legal performance available for the 20112014 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. Centered around Whipples massive W185RF 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, this Stage 2 configuration adds increased airflow capacity and fueling headroom for brutal, repeatable power across the entire RPM range.
This is a No Flash Tool (NFT) configuration. The kit includes NO calibration, NO tuning credits, and NO flash device. Custom PCM tuning is required.
With the upgraded airflow components, the Stage 2 system is capable of producing up to 775 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque* on 93 octanenearly doubling factory output while retaining excellent drivability.
Gen 6 W185RF 3.0L Twin-Screw Supercharger Architecture
The foundation of the system is Whipples Gen 6 W185RF 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, featuring an advanced rotor profile, optimized rotor housing, and inverted front-entry design. Compared to smaller 1.9L and 2.3L roots-style units, the Gen 6 moves significantly more air with lower discharge temperatures and reduced parasitic loss.
This same core technology is derived from Whipples race-proven programs, including Fords factory Cobra Jet development.
Stage 2 Airflow Upgrade with 132mm Roval Throttle Body
The Stage 2 configuration increases inlet airflow with a billet 132mm Roval electronic throttle body, paired with Whipples 123mm high-flow intake system. This combination dramatically reduces inlet restriction, allowing the 3.0L supercharger to operate at peak efficiency and support higher power levels.
Fuel delivery is handled by billet fuel rails and GT500-style high-flow fuel injectors, providing the capacity required for the increased airflow and boost.
Patented Dual-Pass Intercooling and Thermal Control
Whipples patented dual-core, dual-pass air-to-water intercooler system delivers unmatched cooling efficiency. The massive bar-plate intercooler is over 33% larger than competing systems, routing intake air through the cores twice before entering the engine.
An oversized heat exchanger, high-flow intercooler pump, and large-capacity intercooler reservoir maintain stable intake air temperatures and fast recovery during repeated wide-open-throttle operation.
