Overview
The Whipple Gen 6 3.8L Supercharger No Flash Tool Kit is the most powerful CARB-certified supercharger hardware system ever offered for the 20202022 Ford Shelby GT500. Built around Whipples massive W235RF 3.8L twin-screw supercharger, this system dramatically increases airflow, cooling capacity, and power potential beyond what the factory 2.65L unit can support.
This is a No Flash Tool (NFT) configuration intended for customers who already have tuning solutions in place or plan to pursue custom calibration paths. No handheld tuner, calibration, or tuning credits are included.
Gen 6 3.8L Supercharger Technology
At the core of this system is Whipples record-setting Gen 6 W235RF 3.8L twin-screw supercharger. Featuring an advanced 3x4 rotor combination, increased helix angle, and optimized sealing paths, the 3.8L moves substantially more air with lower discharge temperatures and reduced parasitic loss compared to the factory supercharger.
The inverted supercharger layout allows Whipple to package the largest intercooler system available for the GT500 while retaining full factory hood clearance with no cutting or grinding required.
Unmatched Cooling & Airflow
Whipples patented dual-core, dual-pass air-to-water intercooler system routes compressed air through each intercooler core twice, delivering dramatically increased heat rejection compared to the OEM system. Dual high-capacity coolant inlets and outlets increase coolant flow, maintaining consistent intake air temperatures at elevated boost levels.
The system includes a billet 132mm electronic throttle body and Whipples high-flow cold air intake to eliminate inlet restriction and fully support the airflow demands of the 3.8L supercharger.
Power Capability & Headroom
The Whipple 3.8L GT500 system is engineered with over 2000 horsepower of airflow capacity, providing substantial headroom for high-output street builds and race applications. When paired with appropriate fueling, supporting modifications, and custom calibration, this system is capable of supporting four-digit horsepower combinations.
Note: Power output and emissions compliance are calibration-dependent. This No Flash Tool configuration does not include a Whipple-supplied calibration.
