The Whipple 3.8L Gen 6 Supercharger Upgrade Kit is built for 20072012 Shelby GT500 owners who already have supporting airflow components and want to step into a truly high-horsepower-capable blower. Centered around the massive W235AX 3.8L twin-screw supercharger, this upgrade provides the airflow and efficiency needed for extreme street builds and race applications capable of exceeding 2000 horsepower with proper engine and fuel system support.
At the core is Whipples Gen 6 3.8L compressor, featuring an all-new 3/4 asymmetrical rotor design and revised high-flow housing. This design moves substantially more air with reduced heat and parasitic loss compared to smaller superchargers, delivering stronger power per pound of boost and improved efficiency across the RPM range.
This version of the kit is configured without a throttle body or cold air intake, making it ideal for builders who already have compatible components or are planning a custom inlet setup. The supercharger mounts directly to the factory lower intake manifold and is designed to utilize the factory injectors, fuel rails, heat exchanger system, and MAF sensor for the inlet.
This is a tuner upgrade kit and requires a custom tune after installation. Fuel system components, programmer, and calibration are not included.
