Gen 6 3.8L Whipple Upgrade for Extreme GT500 Power
The Whipple 3.8L Gen 6 Supercharger Upgrade Kit is built for 20072014 Shelby GT500 owners who want serious airflow and unlimited headroom. Centered around the massive W235AX 3.8L twin-screw supercharger, this upgrade delivers the efficiency and durability required for high-horsepower street builds and race applications capable of exceeding 2000 horsepower with the proper supporting mods.
Whipples Gen 6 3.8L features an all-new 3/4 asymmetrical rotor design and updated housing to move more air with less heat and parasitic loss. The result is stronger power per pound of boost and improved efficiency across the RPM rangeexactly what big-boost GT500 builds demand.
This kit includes a 132mm Roval throttle body and a high-flow 123mm cold air intake to remove inlet restrictions and support extreme airflow. The supercharger mounts directly to the factory lower intake manifold and is designed to work with the factory injectors, fuel rails, heat exchanger system, and MAF sensor for the inletmaking it a straightforward upgrade path for experienced builders.
This is a tuner upgrade kit. It does not include fuel system components, a programmer, or calibration. A custom tune is required after installation to safely dial in the combination.
