For 20212023 trucks, Whipple engineered an all-new Gen 6 housing, inlet, and pulley design to further increase airflow and efficiency. The massive Crusher 150mm inlet and exclusive 3x4 rotor combination reduce restriction and discharge temperatures, allowing more power at lower boost levels. The inverted supercharger layout nests the unit in the valley, maintaining factory hood clearance and a clean, factory-style install.
Charge-air cooling is handled by Whipples patented dual-core, dual-pass intercooler system, which routes air through each core twice for nearly double the effective cooling area of conventional designs. Combined with the largest dual-pass heat exchanger in the segment and a high-flow intercooler pump, intake air temperatures stay stable under towing, hard acceleration, and sustained load.
Fueling and calibration are upgraded to match the airflow. Stage 2 includes GT500 Bosch dual-beam fuel injectors and Whipples advanced PCM calibration delivered through the Whipple Tomahawk V2 flash tool. This calibration manages fuel, spark, torque, throttle control, and the 10-speed transmission while preserving factory drive modes, towing capability, and daily drivability. The system is fully CARB certified and 50-state legal (EO D-231-144).
