The Whipple Gen 6x 3.0L Stage 1R No Flash Tool (NFT) Supercharger Kit delivers extreme, emissions-legal performance for the 20212023 Ford F-150 5.0L Coyote. Built around Whipples latest Gen 6x twin-screw architecture, this system is engineered for massive airflow, brutal torque, and OEM-level drivability when paired with a custom tune.
This is a No Flash Tool (NFT) system. The kit includes NO calibration, NO tuning credits, and NO flash device. Custom PCM tuning is required.
With proper custom tuning, the Stage 1R system is capable of producing over 765 flywheel horsepower and 665 lb-ft of torque* on 91+ octane fuel.
Gen 6x 3.0L Twin-Screw Supercharger Design
At the core of the system is Whipples Gen 6x W185RF 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, featuring an all-new housing, redesigned inlet, and updated pulley configuration. The Gen 6x improves upon the previous Gen 6 by significantly increasing inlet airflow capacity and peak efficiency.
The inverted, front-entry layout places the supercharger deep in the engine valley, optimizing airflow paths and allowing for an oversized intercooler package while fitting cleanly under the factory hood.
Crusher 150mm Inlet and 3x4 Rotor Pack
The Stage 1R system utilizes Whipples massive Crusher 150mm inlet paired with the exclusive 3x4 rotor combination. This design increases RPM capability, reduces internal leakage, and delivers more airflow under the curve than traditional roots-style systems.
The result is instant boost response, higher peak airflow, and superior efficiency across the entire RPM range.
Patented Dual-Pass Intercooling and Thermal Control
Whipples patented dual-core, dual-pass air-to-water intercooler system routes intake air through each intercooler twice, providing nearly double the effective cooling area of conventional designs.
The system is paired with the largest dual-pass heat exchanger on the market and a high-flow intercooler pump, maintaining low intake air temperatures during towing, aggressive street driving, or repeated wide-open throttle pulls.
Stage 1R Power Delivery and Drivability
The Stage 1R system bolts directly to the factory engine with no cutting or grinding required. Power delivery is immediate and linear, with a flat torque curve that makes the truck feel violent off-idle while remaining smooth and predictable when properly tuned.
