Whipple Stage 2 Gen 6 Supercharger Kit 3.0L (2018–2020 F-150 5.0L) WK-2315-STG2-30

Maximum Gen 6 Performance for the 5.0L F-150

The Whipple Stage 2 Supercharger Kit with the Gen 6 W185RF 3.0L twin-screw supercharger is the ultimate emissions-legal power upgrade for the 2018–2020 Ford F-150 5.0L Coyote. Designed for enthusiasts who want more than Stage 1, this system adds higher boost, increased airflow, and upgraded hardware while maintaining OEM-level drivability and reliability.

Stage 2 builds on Whipple’s already dominant Gen 6 platform by increasing boost by approximately 1 PSI and adding the massive 132mm billet Roval throttle body. The result is a system capable of producing up to 775 horsepower and 655 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel on premium fuel, with instant throttle response and a flat, hard-hitting torque curve.

At the core is Whipple’s updated Gen 6 supercharger featuring innovative G6 rotors and a revised housing for even greater efficiency. The inverted design places the supercharger deep in the engine valley, routing air through Whipple’s patented dual-core, dual-pass intercooler system. Unlike conventional layouts, Whipple’s design passes air through each intercooler twice, delivering unmatched thermal efficiency and consistency.

The system includes a massive heat exchanger, high-flow intercooler pump, upgraded fuel system components, and Whipple’s proprietary PCM calibration. The included HP Tuners RDT flash tool allows easy calibration loading, diagnostics, data logging, and customization of wheel and axle settings, all while retaining factory drive modes such as tow, eco, sport, and off-road.

Great kit. It gives you everything you need from the fuel system to the coolant system. A HP tuner came with the kit and downloading/uploading is easy. You will need to read all of the instructions and be mechanically inclined. Pay attention to what is ft lbs and what is inch lbs as some items are aluminum and will strip out if over torqued. An array of tools outside of a standard socket set will be required. Lots of extensions, torque wrenches, swivels, fuel line tools, Loctite, pipe sealant, etc. The removal of the factory intake and all of the connections on its backside up against the firewall are enough to aggravate the calmest person. After that your biggest hurdle is the two back bolts that mount the unit to the block. Lots of patience needed. The instructions are good, but there are areas where you need to be intuitive enough to figure things out. It looks like the instructions have been updated in a piece meal fashion over the years versus just a complete start to finish overhaul. Again they are sufficient to get you through and there is a tech line you can call. All in all I give the kit a 5 out of 5, but paying someone to install it might be worth your time and aggravation.
