The Whipple W175AX 2.9L Supercharger Upgrade Kit is engineered for 20032004 SVT Cobra owners running an aftermarket oval throttle body who want maximum airflow and headroom for serious power. Built around Whipples 4th-generation W175AX 2.9-liter twin-screw, this system delivers substantially more airflow, cooler charge temps, and reduced parasitic loss compared to the factory Eaton roots blower.
Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement, the W175AX dramatically lowers supercharger discharge temperatures and horsepower consumption while maintaining instant boostno lag, no drop-off. Out of the box, the kit includes everything required to run approximately 13 psi on a stock engine with no engine or PCM modifications. For builders pushing further, the W175AX platform supports boost levels approaching 25 psi with appropriate engine upgrades.
